We loved this small, hip, strong-on-the-atmosphere Italian joint before they had high chairs and we’re just mad about it now that it added a few. Small plates featuring cheese and cured meats, bruschetta, pasta, risotto, salads and panini (including my fave in the neighborhood: sausage, Taleggio and broccoli rabe, MMMMMmmmm) are the stars of this show though the wine list, with a great by-the-glass menu, makes washing them down even more of a treat. But best of all, the kids meals–which include a smashing white mac & cheese–are a hit and include a juice box and chocolate pudding for dessert. Don’t miss the veal-and-porcini meatballs and make sure to come in on the weekends for the tasty brunch.
