This sleepy Thai restaurant hides in plain sight on Court and we highly recommend it. The food has always been excellent — and we’ve eaten there many times — and the staff is friendly and accomodating. It’s one of those places where you get the feeling from everyone on staff that they are just really darn glad to have you in their restaurant. The curries are good, on a recent night we tried a salmon dish and it was very tasty. Kids not a problem — there are two high chairs and they’ll gladly give you a plastic cup of water with a straw. Speaking of kids, don’t worry that Thai food is too spicy: Noodle dishes, dumplings, and the omelette (hold the sauce) are all plenty mild. And there’s one more way in which Cafe Chili differs from flashier Joya down the street: Cafe Chili’s pad thai is better.
